Test
Scripts for PeopleSoft Use
In our efforts to improve
the testing of our products we would like to invite you to submit your business process scenarios to our QA teams for inclusion
in their test ware.
In order for the scenario
to be understandable by the QA engineers we will require some background information such as Business Unit settings, Record
Set Group Controls etc. Please use panel shots, table dumps or text to describe the necessary information. If it is possible
to replicate the scenario in Demo please document any changes or additions that you made to the delivered setup.
For example if the business
scenario were a partially fulfilled Purchase Order we would need the following background information as well as the step-by-step
transaction flow, and the expected results:
Installation
Options
PO Business
Unit data
AP Business
Unit data
Procurement
Accounting Control
GL Business
Unit data (if the scenario includes accounting entries being posted)
Purchasing
Item information
Relevant
Setid information (such as Record Group PO_02 Setid <> set control value)
As stated above this information
can be in any format you like. If you have any doubt, err on the side of detail. If you have any questions please contact
susan_davies@peoplesoft.com.
You can use this template
as a guide however we will accept any format as long as there is enough data for us to replicate:
